Diamond is Unbreakable trades the globe-trotting structure of Part 3 for a single Japanese town. Morioh is a sleepy seaside city in 1999, and Jotaro arrives to find his uncle Josuke Higashikata — a teenage Stand user with the healing-touch Stand Crazy Diamond — and to investigate why the town keeps producing new Stand users. The Part is the slice-of-life entry: most chapters are short, episodic encounters with local oddballs, until the slowly tightening menace of Yoshikage Kira, a respectable office worker whose Stand Killer Queen lets him erase the women he's drawn to, becomes the spine of the second half. The Part is fond of its supporting cast in a way the rest of the series isn't — Koichi, Rohan, Okuyasu and Hayato all get arcs of their own — and it ends with one of the saga's most quoted final pages.
