Stone Ocean is the closing Part of the original universe — though no one knew that going in. Jolyne Cujoh, Jotaro's daughter, is framed for a crime she didn't commit and dropped into a Florida women's prison, where the chaplain Enrico Pucci is finishing a plan DIO left him decades earlier. The Part is unusually claustrophobic for a JoJo entry: most of the action is inside the prison, the supporting cast is small and tight, and Pucci's project — to 'achieve heaven' by accelerating time until the universe loops — is more cosmological than the saga has ever been. Jolyne is the first female JoJo, and her crew (Ermes, Foo Fighters, Anasui, Weather Report) is the most consciously assembled of any Part. The ending is the most ambitious — and most divisive — moment in the entire saga.
