Part 4 · 1937–1995Yoshihiro's pre-arc biography is depicted across multiple flashback chapters. Born in 1937 to a Morioh photography-family lineage, he raised Yoshikage Kira across the 1960s and 1970s while developing his own Stand Atom Heart Father — a photograph-residence Stand that lets him store his consciousness inside any photograph he has personally taken. He died in 1995, but his ghost-form persists inside his last self-portrait photograph across Diamond Is Unbreakable's 1999 arc.
His role across Part 4 is Kira's posthumous enabler — Yoshihiro provides Stand-Arrow distribution, tactical advice, and emotional support to Kira during the Kira-investigation arc. He is destroyed by Josuke's Crazy Diamond in the arc's final act — the photograph he inhabits is shattered, ending his ghost-form persistence.
