Part 3 · 1989Daniel's combat scene against Jotaro across the Cairo lead-in's poker-game sequence is one of Stardust Crusaders' most-cited gambling-combat resolutions. Osiris steals souls from opponents who give up during wagers — Daniel's combat strategy is to engineer hopeless-position bets that force opponent give-up. Jotaro's tactical Stand-use eventually wins the wager and Daniel surrenders his own soul to Osiris in the resulting forfeit.
