Part 3 · 1989Devo's combat scene against Kakyoin in Hong Kong's hotel-room sequence is one of Stardust Crusaders' early-arc Stand-vs-Stand confrontations. Ebony Devil's hatred-fuelled voodoo-doll mechanic produces sustained sneak-attack capability — the doll grows stronger as Devo's hatred for the target accumulates. Kakyoin's Hierophant Green identifies the doll's structural-weakness and resolves the combat in a single chapter.
